Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Electrical Test Engineer position will execute functional, performance, reliability tests for electronic circuits, mostly solid state and hybrid technology systems for existing product lines and during design and development of new products and technologies.
- Will be responsible for supporting product design and corresponding documentation, working on a R&D structure.
- Knowledge of electrical design methodology and practices, test equipment and knowledge and experience on test engineering platforms such as LabVIEW.
- Support on generating, following, executing and reporting testing plans according to specified conditions defined by Electrical Engineers, verifying circuits functionality while working alone or with other systems.
- Participation in product development, for some aspects of electrical design, including prototypes preparation, evaluation and qualification, supporting the product design process and working coordinated with mechanical engineers and industrialization engineers.
- Participation in design reviews, verification, validation and laboratory test of new and existing products and benchmarking studies.
- High performer, capable of participating in technical projects execution, demonstrating accountability for successful and timely completion of assigned tasks, corresponding deliverables and product cost targets.
- Ability to organize and write detailed technical testing reports from test activities assigned, proactive, application of technical lessons observed, self-learning and self-motivated.
- Clear and continue communication within the R&D team members and product development team members from other departments to accomplish deadlines.
- Participation in industrialization and process improvement activities.
- Document, follow up and implement lessons learned culture.
- Troubleshooting production floor testing equipment through analytical thinking, resolving complex engineering issues.
Experiencia y requisitos
- 3+ years of experience in product electrical testing or electrical laboratory functions.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge in printed circuit boards, hands-on laboratory experience to test and verify the performance of existing/new product designs and systems.
- Knowledge of Circuit Design software (ECAD).
- Knowledge of testing equipment firmware generation and optimization.
- Ability and experience interpreting and writing Schematics Diagrams, Tests Instructions and Electrical Product Architecture Drawings.
- Good communication, attitude and team work skills
- Proficiency in English (75%), knowledge of MS Office
- Experience or knowledge in LabView programs for testing and electrical simulation software is a plus.
- U.S. Visa
- Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECO) processes, generation of BOM structures, and New Products introduction is a plus.
- Excellent communication and team work skills.
