This position leads material cost optimization and supplier relationship management, focusing on cost reduction and strategic sourcing.

Negotiate with existing and new supplier base on customer RFQ, NPI and provide budgetary cost support to major programs. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area

• Lead purchasing activities for major Project Requirements (Place RFQ, clarify specific project requirements, negotiate PO, award business, ensure hand-over with Project).

• Implement global sourcing strategy and well cooperation with NA Supply Chain Leader

• Contribute to define the Regional Sourcing Strategy

• Negotiate T&C/Price lists (Long Term Frame Agreement /open Purchase Orders and implement Supplier Review Management tools with suppliers)

• Be the main interface between Engineering and the supplier
