NPI Engineer I

Key Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing activities for assigned products throughout prototype, pilot, and production phases.
• Serve as the main contact for customer documentation updates and internal engineering change orders.
• Participate in new customer development and support new business opportunities.
• Analyze line return data to identify root causes and drive corrective actions for process issues.
• Perform product‑level FMEAs and ensure manufacturability through engineering drawing and DFX reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen activities.
• Evaluate and qualify new processes, materials, and manufacturing equipment.
• Lead internal and external corrective action plans and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain compliance with certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ANSI ESD S20.20, IPC, etc.
• Support organizational KPI achievement and establish measurable objectives aligned with site goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department and organizational needs.
