Painting Supervisor

Distributes and supervises the activities of the personnel under their charge according to the production schedule in time, quality and quantity according to the standards and specifications of the client.

• Supervise personnel in the painting area (surface preparation, application, drying, etc.). 
• Ensure compliance with the technical specifications of the painting process, including paint type, coating thickness, curing times, etc. 
• Manage supplies and materials (paint, solvents, personal protective equipment, etc.) and report supply needs. 
• Accomplishes manufacturing staff results 
• Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, 
• Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency 
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities 
• Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods. 
• Implementing cost reductions. 
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. 
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards 
• Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques, Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management and executives.
