Descripción y detalle de las actividades

Leads and manages a production manufacturing facility, overseeing direct and indirect functions, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Provides strategic guidance aligned with organizational goals and company policies.

Accountable for meeting business objectives and production schedules, with performance measured against targets. Develops and implements operational policies impacting internal and cross-functional teams.

Participates in cross-organizational projects and process improvements. Manages budgets, timelines, and performance metrics, influencing long-term goals and priorities. Ensures resource availability and removes operational barriers.

Key Deliverables:

  • Execute operational strategies, ensuring plan vs. actual performance and target adherence.
  • Support seamless product launches with full process readiness.
  • Implement zero-defect plans to achieve 15 consecutive defect-free days.
  • Manage headcount to optimize cost and meet P&L objectives.
  • Drive operational and manufacturing KPIs.
  • Ensure effective financial management and cost control.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to drive performance and growth.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes from concept through startup.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements and objectives.
  • Promote best practices and innovative solutions to improve production and quality.
  • Manage cost, timelines, and conduct risk assessments with mitigation actions.

Experiencia y requisitos

Functional Competencies:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

are required. (English and Spanish)

• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing

concepts is preferred.

• Techniques for quality control, costs, and other

techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture

of goods.

• Excellent communicator able to work with in

multifunctional team.

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering.

Previous Experience:

  • +10 years as Manager in Manufacturing, Quality and/or Production areas.
  • Background: TS-16949, (IATF) TPM, APS, Six Sigma, JIT, Conflict resolution, Management.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
