Main Responsibilities

• Follow up on purchase requisitions from different areas of the plant.
• Request, compare, and analyze quotes for materials, tools, office supplies, medications, and services from various suppliers.
• Assist the Senior Buyer in negotiating prices and commercial terms.
• Validate purchase requisitions in SAP and follow up on the corresponding approvals.
• Generate and send purchase orders to suppliers.
• Track pending purchase orders and delivery dates.
• Provide support to internal users regarding the requisition and purchasing process.
• Participate in training users on purchasing processes.
• Assist in the search for, evaluation of, and onboarding of new suppliers.
• Manage the supplier onboarding process, ensuring compliance with required documentation.
• Administer supplier contracts and monitor their validity.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, the administration of commercial contracts, and REPSE documentation in SharePoint.
