Production Manager

Job Title:  Production Manager

Location:  Tijuana, Mexico

Travel Required: 30%

Position Summary:

This role’s primary mission is to plan, coordinate and control within the production area all required activities to ensure company’s product is manufactured and delivered on time according to customer requirements, and main KPI’s are met.

• Provide leadership and direction to production staff to ensure that area’s KPIs are met.
• Direct responsible to ensure a safe work environment.
• Responsible to coordinate and control all activities to maintain or improve quality level of the product and scrap control.
• Responsible to achieve on daily basis production plan and shipment plan.
• Responsible to control production efficiency, maintaining approved headcount and efficiently usage of production resources.
• Lead the efforts for continuous improvement activities to improve KPI’s, production processes and work environment.
• Responsible to select and hire of staff on approved budget, also is responsible to develop and cross train production staff.
• Responsible to maintain a respectful relationship with subordinates and co-workers. 

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Accomplish of daily production plan and shipment, ensuring KPI’s for safety, quality, efficiency and people.
• Promote and conduct continuous improvement activities among the production floor.
• Create a strong team work among production staff by reinforcing the cross-training plan and motivation.
