Production Planner

The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating manufacturing schedules, ensuring material availability, and optimizing production efficiency for HVAC components and systems. The Production Planner  works closely with procurement, Purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and production teams to maintain a smooth workflow, minimize downtime, and meet customer demand while ensuring compliance with industry standards. 

• Production Scheduling: Develop and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and lead times. 
• Material Planning: Ensure raw materials (e.g., sheet metal, copper, aluminum, insulation) are available in alignment with production needs. 
• Capacity Management: Monitor machine workloads, labor availability, and shift planning to maximize efficiency. 
• Bottleneck Resolution: Identify and mitigate potential production bottlenecks or delays. 
• Process Optimization: Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
• Coordination with Departments: Work closely with engineering, procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to align planning with project deadlines. 
• Reporting & Analysis: Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and Production Fill Rate.
