- Develop and manage monthly and yearly budget for receipt of raw material.
- Overview purchase of raw material and in transit.
- Ensure on time delivery for all materials to ensure 100% sales.
- Monitor and improve supplier OTD, DPPM and supplier reduction metrics.
- Maintain good supplier relations with primary suppliers. This may include supplier visits. Proactive discussions with suppliers, to build strong relationships.
- Assign tasks, review work, and provide direction to staff while ensuring purchasing processes are met within established timelines.
- Suppor production schedules by assisting in planning activities and monitoring buys.
- Purchasing metrics execution.
- Work with AP ensuring on time payments to suppliers.
- Negotiating with suppliers best price, delivery, and terms.
Experiencia y requisitos
- BS/BA or equivalent in Business Administration, International Business or related technical/manufacturing/engineering degree.
- 3 + years experience in a supervision role.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Clear, concise and direct communication skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience using as400/SAP a plus.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and develop team members.
