Descripción y detalle de las actividades

Develop, implement, and maintain the full scope of quality activities and to be responsible for insuring continued conformance with Quality Policies. Activities: *Report directly to senior management as a member of the factory management team. *Develop, implement, and manage the company Quality Management Systems and compliance with ISO 9000 and 14000. *Develop the necessary procedures, work instructions and associated quality documents to ensure process effectiveness and customer satisfaction. *Effectively interact externally with key suppliers and customers, and internally with sales, production, and operations personnel. *Provide technical advice and guidance to sales and operations personnel. *Experience with standard measurement/inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc. *Promote and facilitate process and quality improvements. *Ensure that products and services are in conformance with customer requirements; Disposition and release daily production based on customer quality requirements. *Address daily customer or supplier quality/process related issues of non-conformity including RMA, MRB, 8D and SCAR. *Establish and maintain testing methods and procedures, including calibration program. *Coordinate internal and external audits and other activities to ensure effectiveness and compliance. *Support continual improvement activities through a disciplined problem solving approach. *Ensure all active corrective and preventative actions are processed in a timely manner. *Other duties as determined by customer, product quality and process requirements. *Review non-conformance reports and materials with production and engineering personnel to identify correction actions. *Oversee QA and QC staff covering all areas of incoming, production and outgoing inspection. *Develop general policies in regards of Safety and Environmental programs, procedures and instructions related to Official Norms. *To implement Safety programs, Training and Register before STPS. *Manage quality reports, KPI, and statistical analysis as and when required daily, weekly, monthly.

Experiencia y requisitos

*BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic Engineer or equivalent *A minimum of five years prior experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role in Maquiladora *Experience developing and implementing an ISO 9000 and 14000 *Excellent verbal and written communication *Drawings interpretation *Problem solving skills *Proactive *90% Bilingual English/Spanish
