The Senior Sourcing Specialist is responsible to help develop and/or execute procurement strategies with 3rd party suppliers in support of Fresenius Medical Care's One Procurement strategy to achieve best
total cost of ownership, sustainable productivity and high levels of quality and service aligned with cross-functional business objectives. Coordinates with category management and/or Technical Procurement Project Management to understand patient and internal needs to conduct RFx exercises, select suppliers,support or lead negotiation of favorable contracts and for lower cost buys as agreed with category management, ensure supplier performance, risk assessment and supplier relationships.
Experiencia y requisitos
Bachelor's Degree in either Technical or Business field
English (written and spoken) - Fluent
MS-Office, ERP Systems, etc.
Good understanding of sourcing methodologies.
Experience with hands on analysis and data interpretation;
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites preferred.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
6-8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related field with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent directly related work experience
4-6 years of direct industry or company experience preferred
