The Specification Support, Project Coordinator performs landscape irrigation and lighting market analysis tasks to deliver project opportunities to sales teams while identifying and reporting on trends.

Identifies, develops, and refines artificial intelligence solutions to mine and deliver market opportunities and trends to sales teams.  


Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

1.      Design, develop, and refine artificial intelligence and automation tools to mine landscape irrigation and lighting project data from platforms such as Salesforce, AutoCAD drawings, and project lead generation systems. Continuously improve models to identify qualified project opportunities, specification activity, and emerging market trends.

2.      Conduct structured market and project analysis to identify high-value opportunities, including new construction, retrofit, and public works projects. Translate data insights into prioritized, sales-ready intelligence that supports territory strategy and revenue growth.

3.      Develop AI-enabled workflows that extract, interpret, and summarize irrigation and lighting specifications from construction documents, AutoCAD files, and plan sets. Improve accuracy and efficiency of project take-offs, specification rate tracking, and competitive positioning analysis         

4.      Track key performance indicators including project close rates, specification rates, conversion ratios, and pipeline velocity. Create dashboards and analytical reports within Salesforce and other BI tools to inform sales leadership and strategic planning decisions  

5.      Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and IT teams to align AI solutions and reporting tools with strategic priorities. Provide training, documentation, and support to ensure adoption of AI-driven insights and tools across the sales organization.

7.      Monitor performance of AI models and analytical outputs, validate accuracy against actual sales

Qualifications:

Education/Training


Required and Preferred:

High school diploma; two years of technical training or education in data analytics, business analytics, computer science, construction management, marketing analytics, artificial intelligence, or related field. Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, or business intelligence preferred.   


Experience Require:

Full bilingual English Spanish is a must

Minimum three to five years’ experience in market analysis, sales operations, construction project coordination, or business intelligence. Experience working with landscape irrigation, lighting, construction, or related B2B industries preferred. Demonstrated experience developing or supporting AI, automation, or data modeling solutions. Experience extracting and analyzing data from CRM platforms. Experience reviewing

construction documents, specifications, and/or AutoCAD drawings is strongly preferred.    

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) Required and Preferred:

KSA #1:  Proficient with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

KSA #2:  Proficient with modifying and manipulating PDF files. 

KSA #3:  Proficient with project management software.

KSA #4: Working knowledge of AI/ML tools, predictive analytics, automation platforms, or scripting languages (Python, SQL, or similar)  

KSA #5:Familiar with construction documents and the ability to interpret irrigation and lights plan sets.

KSA #6: Experience with project lead generation platforms.

KSA #7: Experience with AutoCAD platforms

KSA #8:  Good organization and time management skills.

KSA #9:  Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

KSA #10: Ability to work in a remote team environment.

KSA #11: Ability to learn new skills on the job and through self-guided learning material preferred.

KSA #12: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including WORD, PROJECT, and EXCEL.
