Main activities:
- Coordinate and monitor the traffic of the crossings of imports, exports and transfers
- Keep the traffic report updated, always informing the internal and external client
- Optimize times and routes with transport units
- Maintain good communication with the company's internal and external departments, suppliers and vendors
- Serve as a link between the different points of the supply chain
- Make bills of landing by UPS, and FedEx for shipment of merchandise
Experiencia y requisitos
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in customs, import/export, and logistics operations.
- Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade compliance.
- Experience coordinating import and export shipments (air, ocean, and ground).
- Familiarity with Incoterms, customs documentation, and shipping requirements.
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities.
- Knowledge of IMMEX program and Mexican customs regulations (preferred).
- Ability to analyze logistics costs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation.
