Utilize system to generate and adjust purchase orders in support of MRP requirements and effectively communicates areas of concern to appropriate departments, individuals, and suppliers.
Interface within a cross functional team regularly meeting with Program Management, Production, Engineering, and Quality.
Assist in the maintenance of policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
Maintain MRP system purchasing data and its integrity.
Support the preparation, analysis, and/or publishing of purchasing-related metrics, reports and scorecards.
Monitor and review production plan often to ensure we meet On-Time delivery requirements for our customers/product builds.
Ensure SYSPRO parameters are maintained by monitoring minimum, maximum, safety, and current inventory levels; making recommendations to management for adjustments to levels per need.
Create and manage work orders through an ERP system; responsible for the proper configuration, planning and documentation of products and processes manufactured

Experiencia y requisitos

Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA)
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Comfortable multi-tasking and able to deliver results under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a very fast paced environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excel skills (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, IF Statements) & other Microsoft Office Program applications
Requires a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience with purchasing electronic commodities in a manufacturing environment – a must
Solid understanding of Materials Requirements Planning
Knowledge of Syspro system) or other similar ERP systems
