Summary
Responsible for improving manufacturing processes, equipment, manufacturing layouts, and providing manufacturing production support. Leads process improvement activities to include in-process defect reduction, scrap reduction,
set-up / changeover reduction, productivity improvement, and overall improvement in OEE.
The IE is also responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
Experiencia y requisitos
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field required.
- At least five years of related experience required.
- Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Efficiency improvements and process optimization.
- Skilled in writing reports, data collection, communication, and procedure manuals.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong Excel skills preferred.
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary; Ability to work well in stressful situations
- time management, attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills; must be extremely detailed, highly organized, and adaptable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a supportive and positive atmosphere; Able to work with multiple teams and projects.
