Materials Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement materials management strategies to support production and supply chain goals. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to optimize material usage. Analyze material usage trends and forecast future requirements. Identify and resolve material shortages, excesses, and obsolescence. Support ERP/MRP system configuration and data accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material handling and storage processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 5+ years of Experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain engineering. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
