Position shift: Day shift Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Strong Mechanical and Industrial Engineering background, working on solving complex material, design for manufacturability and process issues. 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electromechanical component production (e.g., relays, contactors, switches, solenoids, or similar). Hands-on experience with electromechanical assembly processes, including soldering, wiring, precision mechanical fitting, electrical testing, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards, quality systems (AS9100), and tools like FMEA, SPC, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Experience and Proficient in reading/interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D models using Inventor (CAD), SolidWorks, CATIA. Strong knowledge to improve and develop tooling and fixtures (mechanical design). Experience with production support in regulated environments (e.g., FAA, MIL-STD, or similar). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently and cross-functionally. Experience to lead savings project, transfer lines and NPI. Manage ERP system to create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), automate routing steps and adjust Labor. Understanding of process capability, statistical analysis and design of experiments. English fluency is required. Expected to travel domestically and internationally with short notice on occasions up to 25% of the time.
