Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience a related field preferred. Experience : 5+ years of experience in estimating with switchgear manufacturing, including experience with custom-built electrical products (e.g. medium voltage breakers, low voltage, automatic transfer switchgear, main-tie-main schemes, unit substation, skid mounted equipment, modular enclosures). Estimating : estimating experience in switchgear or related field is required. Work Ethic : Excellent analytical, communication, task prioritization skills. Must have a heightened sense of urgency and be results oriented. Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of electrical schematics, BOMs, construction documents, UL891, UL1558, utility requirements, solar application requirements, and general micro-grid technologies. Problem-Solving : Ability to understand customer power protection and distribution requirements and develop appropriate value propositions. Software Proficiency : CRM and ERP (NetSuite+) tools, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite. Language Proficiency : Fluent in English and Spanish
