Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. Requires at least 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering roles within a manufacturing environment. Proficient in English (approximately 80%), with the ability to actively participate and lead meetings, as well as communicate effectively in professional written and verbal interactions. Intermediate Excel skills, including experience in reporting, data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, and database management. Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies , including planning, execution, milestone tracking, and delivery of defined operational objectives. Experience developing capacity planning models to assess production constraints, optimize resource utilization, and support data-driven decisions in manufacturing operations. Qualifications We Preferred: Experience leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, Standard Work, and waste elimination, with measurable operational improvements. Experience using AutoCAD to support facility layouts, line balancing, workstation ergonomics, and manufacturing process improvements. Experience with process mapping and modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio, iGrafx, or similar software. Experience driving process changes across cross-functional teams without direct authority, resulting in successful implementation of operational improvements Advanced Excel skills, including experience with macros (VBA), SQL, and advanced data automation or database handling.

Key responsibilities include supervising federal and state tax compliance such as income tax (ISR), value-added tax (VAT), and payroll-related obligations, as well as ensuring compliance with Mexican transfer pricing regulations applicable to maquiladora operations. The role coordinates Safe Harbor calculations in accordance with Mexican tax regulations, based on the applicable methodology of either 6.9% of assets or 6.5% of operating costs, and supports the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and annual tax filings. In addition, the position serves as a liaison with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance. This role also leads the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting, providing financial modeling and scenario analysis to support operational decision-making. Responsibilities include monitoring capital expenditures (CAPEX), ensuring proper asset capitalization, and analyzing working capital and cash flow performance to maintain financial stability.
