Automation Technician

6–12 months of experience in industrial automation, electrical systems, controls, maintenance, manufacturing equipment, or a related technical field. Technical degree, associate degree, or equivalent education in Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology , or a related field. Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC programming, Ladder Logic, HMI systems, sensors, actuators, electrical controls, and industrial automation equipment . Knowledge of PLC, AutoCAD, HMI, and MATLAB or equivalent technical software is preferred. Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems . Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and automation documentation . Experience with troubleshooting and root cause identification for technical issues. Knowledge of SCADA systems, distributed control systems (DCS), and industrial communication protocols is desirable. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers. Good organizational skills and ability to follow up on multiple technical activities and project requirements. Conversational English – B1 level. Availability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform hands-on technical activities on the production floor.
