Customs Compliance & Regulatory Oversight * Ensure strict compliance with Mexican customs laws, SAT regulations, and IMMEX program requirements. * Review and validate import, export, and virtual operations to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence. * Maintain proper tariff classification (HTS/HS codes) and support classification reviews. * Monitor and maintain compliance with Annex 24, Annex 30, and RRNA obligations. * Oversee documentation control, recordkeeping, and electronic file management in accordance with legal retention requirements. CTPAT & OEA Program Management * Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CTPAT and OEA security programs. * Conduct periodic risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability analyses across the supply chain. * Coordinate corrective actions and ensure alignment with CTPAT Minimum Security Criteria and OEA requirements. * Train internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners on security protocols and compliance expectations. * Prepare and maintain documentation required for validations, revalidations, and government audits. Technical Skills * Strong knowledge of Mexican customs regulations (SAT, IMMEX, LIGIE). * Expertise in CTPAT and OEA security programs. * Experience with Annex 24, Annex 30, and RRNA compliance. * Tariff classification (HTS/HS). * Virtual operations and customs documentation management. * Audit preparation and compliance risk assessment. Customs Coordinator

Activities: Coordinate and supervise import and export operations, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations and the company’s internal procedures. Maintain constant coordination with Customs Brokers to ensure timely clearances, addressing inspections, amendments, operational errors, and government requirements. Administer and monitor proper inventory control in accordance with Annex 24 requirements. Coordinate with internal areas such as logistics, planning, production, procurement, engineering, and Compliance to ensure proper execution and traceability of IMMEX operations. Ensure the correct application of customs regimes (temporary imports, virtual operations, returns, and changes of regime), verifying that transactions are executed within authorized terms and conditions. Monitor compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions applicable to IMMEX operations (NOMs, prior permits, automatic notices, quotas, certifications, among others). Supervise the proper preparation, validation, and transmission of customs declarations, ensuring consistency of tariff, tax, and identifier information. Ensure the integration and retention of foreign trade compliance files in accordance with current regulations. Coordinate customs support during extended hours, second shifts, and/or weekends, as required by operational needs. Qualifications: Required/ Minimum Qualifications: - University Degree – Management or Engineering school preferably One year of experience. Experience in managing Annex 24 inventory control systems. Additional / Preferred Qualifications: - Fluent English Well organized and able to work under pressure Drive and self motivation, after hours and weekend working might be required Available to travel within the assigned territory
