WORK ENVIRONMENT Works in a fast-paced engineering / manufacturing lab environment. Works under limited supervision. Many tasks are repetitive in motion and include the use of electronic assembly equipment. Overtime may be necessary in times of increased demand. Require working in day and night shift based on shift assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to present ideas in a clear and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing. Ability and willingness to engage and effectively resolve difficult conflict situations. Ability to read and write in English. Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand, product description, material demand, key human resource requirements. Ability to collaborate and involve others in decision-making and problem solving. Ability to organize, schedule, coordinate, and negotiate effectively and to set priorities in a manner which ensures maximum performance and goal accomplishment. Ability to negotiate effectively and to set priorities. Ability to apply specific, work-related information and observations, to promote, and to facilitate improvements to employee’s job performance. Ability and initiative to identify, address, and resolve employee disciplinary issues. Knowledge of demand-based manufacturing systems. Excellent PC skills, including MS Standard Office. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing or related field. More than 3 years of experience in ahigh volume manufacturing environment. Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising SMT operations. Strong computer skills (statistical software and Microsoft Office). Availability to work in 2nd shift. Conversational English required. Experience managing personnel. Qualifications we prefer: Bacherlor's degree or technical training in Electronics or Electrical Enginering. Experience in the electronics, automotive or aeroespace industry.
