TThe RA Specialist will also act as a regulatory consultant to ensure all products comply global and regional regulations and market needs (REACH/SVHC, California Proposition 65, RoHS). Ensure availability of up-to-date technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures Work together with LPE global teams for supporting customer requests with related RA mailboxes Work with the global environmental compliance team to oversee the management of compliance information for all sourced materials, components and finished goods Support international registrations with related technical documentation Function as an RA subject matter expert on new product introductions, capacity expansion projects and custom product development and manufacturing Complete timely regulatory safety evaluations on customer complaints and manufacturing non-conformance activities for regulated products Provide regulatory input to QA in Deviations, CAPAs, Management Review and complaints Provide guidance regarding regulatory and performance test requirements for product claims and the design verification and validation of products (including sterilization, biocompatibility, labelling, clinical, and packaging validation)

Key Responsibilities Welding Process Development & Optimization Develop, implement, and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ). Evaluate and improve welding processes (MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, laser welding, robotic welding, etc.) to increase throughput, reduce defects, and lower production costs. Support automation efforts including robotic welding programming, fixture design input, and process validation. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–7 years of experience in welding engineering within a manufacturing environment. Experience with robotic/automated welding systems preferred. Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatments, weld symbols, and blueprint reading. Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). ASME or API certifications depending on industry sector. Skills & Competencies Proficiency with weld testing methods (NDT, DT) and inspection tools. Knowledge of weld metallurgy, distortion control, and consumable selection. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead root cause investigations. Excellent communication and ability to train and mentor technical staff. Experience with CAD tools or welding simulation software a plus.

Controlar variables críticas del proceso (temperatura, composición química, tiempos de residencia, escoria, etc.). Garantizar el cumplimiento de normas de seguridad industrial, salud ocupacional y medio ambiente. Supervisar el manejo adecuado de residuos peligrosos (escorias, polvos, emisiones). Optimizar el consumo de energía, materias primas y rendimiento del metal. Controlar costos de operación, presupuestos y eficiencia del proceso. Generar y analizar indicadores (KPIs) de producción, calidad y seguridad. Liderar equipos operativos (hornos, moldeo, mantenimiento autónomo). Coordinar mantenimiento preventivo en equipos críticos (hornos, ollas, sistemas de filtración). Requisitos: Ingeniería Metalúrgica (preferente), de Materiales, Química o Industrial. Experiencia mínima de 3 a 5 años en procesos de fundición de metales. Control de calidad metalúrgico (análisis químico, aleaciones). Operación de hornos (rotatorios, reverbero, olla, etc.). Manejo de sistemas de gestión: Calidad (ISO 9001) Medio ambiente (ISO 14001) Seguridad (ISO 45001) Experiencia en manejo de costos de producción, presupuestos y KPIs. Liderazgo, toma de decisiones y manejo de personal operativo. Requisitos específicos para la industria (CLAVE): Conocimiento en manejo seguro de materiales peligrosos.
