Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify raw material and manufacturing risks early in the cycle, driving cost-effective engineering solutions without altering design integrity or product performance. Technical Skills & Logistics: Solid understanding of international trade terms ( Incoterms 2020 ), customs, import regulations, and factory production workflows. Applied knowledge of performance synthetic fibers, yarn performance properties, and fabric construction. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced costing models) and experience working within Flex PLM (or similar PLM systems) and Adobe Illustrator . Language & Travel: 100% Fluent English is mandatory (C1/C2 level) for daily international vendor management and corporate reporting. Must possess a Valid U.S. Visa and the ability to travel internationally to audit material mills and production lines on-site. Job Requirements & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Apparel/Product Development, or a highly relevant field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in global textile procurement, sourcing, or apparel product development. Experience within the athletic, activewear, or technical performance category (knits) is highly preferred .
