Conocimiento de Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen y Six Sigma. Experiencia en análisis de flujo de materiales y balanceo de procesos. Desarrollo de procesos, instrucciones de trabajo y documentación técnica. Diseño de fixtures y herramentales. Conocimiento en control de procesos, análisis de causa raíz (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) y control de cambios de ingeniería (ECO/ECN). Manejo de sistemas ERP (SAP, Oracle, Syteline o similar). Dominio de Microsoft Office. Inglés intermedio-avanzado. Deseable Certificación en SolidWorks Sheet Metal . Certificación ASME GD&T Professional . Certificación AWS (American Welding Society) . Experience 5+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing or continuous improvement engineering role. Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Management Systems is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead high-impact manufacturing and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, including new equipment acquisition, equipment upgrades/refurbishments, product/process transfers, and layout optimization. Utilize robust project management tools such as project charters, Gantt charts, timelines, and structured communication plans. Coordinate and drive continuous improvement activities on the production floor in close collaboration with operations and manufacturing teams. Track and report financial impacts by developing project savings calculation sheets and submitting comprehensive monthly reports. Design and optimize manufacturing processes by thoroughly analyzing product requirements, researching innovative production methods, and testing advanced equipment. Maximize manufacturing efficiency and eliminate waste through the strategic analysis and planning of workflows, space utilization, and equipment layouts. Perform advanced statistical data analysis to monitor product and process trends, using data-driven insights to guide executive decision-making. Maintain strict adherence to the company's Quality System and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), actively participating in validation processes, process flows, control plans, FMEAs, and engineering studies. Manage engineering changes by preparing templates for layout modifications and master data updates (including BOMs, routings, and technical drawing uploads). Present technical and economic production metrics during cross-functional business meetings. Solve complex engineering problems with initiative and analytical independence, applying a wide variety of technical practices with minimal supervision.
