Policy formulation: Develop local roadmap and deploy OPS 2.0 leading the lean transformation of the sites and team. Converting sales forecasts into policy and plans for assembly and logistics Drawing up policies and budgets for operations incl. assembly, material management and logistics including operational plans to meet monthly and yearly P&L targets applicable to Tijuana facility Drawing up an inventory plan, working together with Procurement, Finance and the Management Team. Control and implementation of the process : Ensuring Quality Management Systems processes are followed to produce and ship product to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction. Assure compliance to FDA compliance, ISO 13485 compliance, CTPAT, and compliance to over Maquiladora policies and procedure applicable to TJ plant. Implementing and fostering lean manufacturing principles such as e.g., Work Stand Sheets, Gemba and Kaizen philosophy, Kanban, 6S Guaranteeing the service level agreement at optimum cost, taking the budget, quality requirements and conditions and the relevant purchasing agreements into account Providing guidance to production, material management and logistics within the organization, particularly with regards to the deployment of employees and resources in order to ensure the availability of materials Providing guidance to supervisors regarding assembly, material management and logistic processes and reports Supporting the other Operations Directors to aim for operational (improvement) projects within the Sunrise Medical sites. Communication : Communication with/for Sunrise Medical global operations team, Sunrise Medical Senior Leadership Team, Experts with respect to logistic issues, NA commercial team leaders and key customers as needed, Management : Is ultimately responsible for the following departments: Manufacturing incl. Assembly, Warehouse, Logistics, Adaptations (B4M), Process Engineering and Material Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Procure electronic components, fabricated parts, and indirect materials in line with specifications and demand. Create, release, and manage purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery, and quality metrics. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms to achieve cost savings and secure supply. Work with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Quality to resolve material shortages or quality concerns. Ensure accurate purchasing and inventory data within the ERP system. Arrange transportation and logistics for inbound materials. Collaborate with Accounting on invoice reconciliation and returns. Drive and support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives in the supply chain. Actively participate in cross-functional problem solving and team projects. Maintain compliance with company quality and safety policies. QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred. And/ Or 2+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing; electronics/EMS industry preferred. Strong ERP/MRP system experience (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Proficiency in Excel Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to complete IPC 610J Rev E training (provided).
