Promover, atraer y retener inversion del area industrial, que genere en Tijuana empleos de mayor valor agregado y mejor remunarados. Respaldo por los tres niveles de gobierno el organismo es reconocido como "el brazo promotor de Tijuana." The Tijuana-EDC is recognized as the city’s primary industrial promotion agency and works in conjunction with the Local & State Government and other Federal Government Agencies. EDC also has working relationships with several business organizations of Tijuana-San Diego region. The Tijuana-EDC is a non-profit business organization dedicated to promoting the Tijuana – San Diego Region in order to attract & retain industrial investment that generates employment to the community. Founded in 1989, the Tijuana-EDC to this date has over 100 companies as members. All Work together and in favor of the city to provide the information that investors need in order to locate in the region.
