Quality Assurance Engineer
Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining and improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS). Conduct regular inspections and tests of materials, components, and finished modules to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Collect and analyze quality data, including defect rates, rework rates, and other relevant metrics. Identify trends and patterns to pinpoint root causes of quality issues. Assist in the investigation and resolution of non-conforming materials, processes, or products. Contribute to the creation and implementation of corrective actions. Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing solutions to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity. Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports. Work effectively with other departments (e.g., production, engineering, purchasing) to address quality concerns and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization. Assist in the development and delivery of training materials related to quality assurance procedures and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field. 2-4 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Understanding of quality control methodologies and principles. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Bilingual (Spanish and English). Desired Skills: Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management standards. Experience in the construction or prefabricated building industry.
