Eagle Ottawa dates back to 1865, when the Eagle Tanning Works of Whitehall, combined with the Ottawa Leather company in Ottawa County on the western shores of Michigan. The company has grown along side the transportation industry, making leather goods for horse drawn carriages, rail cars, and upholstery for the seats of Detroit''''s earliest automobiles. Today we have more than 4,000 employees at ten plants worldwide. Eagle Ottawa provides finished hides, cut leather parts, and full service seat cover engineering services to more than 30 customers and 90 vehicle models across the globe.
