Sr. Engineer
Minimum Qualifications: Working knowledge of injection molded plastic component, design, and knowledge of plastics processing and mold tool design. Demonstrated experience in achieving results in areas of responsibility described above. S. Degree in a Technical or Mechanical Engineering discipline Working knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T Working knowledge of CAD/CAE engineering tools (SolidWorks preferred) Strong English verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment, both as a leader/facilitator and a participant Excellent theoretical and applied knowledge of design and mechanical engineering concepts Well organized, analytic and methodic, enthusiastic, high energy, strong work ethic Strong project management skills DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to make decisions using statistical tools (Minitab preferred) Experience in low-cost, high-volume, low-defect manufacturing Knowledge of 6-Sigma, DFSS, LEAN, FMEA, DOE, and other quality improvement methods Knowledge of FEA and CFD Knowledge in CT (Computed Tomography) scanning
