Associate Buyer/Planner

Overview

This position works closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing groups to develop, implement, and manage the on-time completion of the Master Production Schedule. Managerial experience meeting dynamic market driven environment demands, such as on time delivery strategies, inventory turns increase, and profit and loss understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilization of Materials Requirements Planning systems to offer 99.5+ customer service levels.
• Monitor demand against forecast and communicate any discrepancies.
• Maintain and develop stock programs as defined by Sales and Materials department.
• Assure that problems relating to delivery, quality or production are promptly resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures.
• Will be responsible to meet inventory targets for finish goods and raw materials
• Develop strategies to ensure material availability to meet production plans.
• Maintain and continually improve the quality management system in the areas assigned with a “risk management” approach.
• Assure compliance to company procedures, policies and most current revision of ISO 9001 standard.
