Responsible for monitoring on-time and quality deliveries, maintaining, auditing, improving and developing suppliers, as well as communicating and following up on discrepancies found that were caused by the supplier in order to prevent recurrence

1.     Request corrective actions from the supplier when deemed necessary by analyzing the manufacturing system and recommending changes to determine if the system meets customer and company quality requirements.

2.     Participate in and ensure compliance with safety projects and guidelines.

3.     Promote and participate in continuous improvement projects, considering the scope of the job.

4.     Support and initiate 5S initiatives.

5.     Communicate specification requirements to senior management, ensuring this information reaches all levels of the organization for implementation.

6.     Attend weekly and/or monthly business unit, MRB, and departmental meetings, taking into account scheduled meetings, to follow up on open issues related to the supplier quality department and provide quick and effective solutions.

7.     Encourage quality work throughout the site through delegated inspection, the use of sampling procedures, SPC, FPY, etc. 8. Communicating the critical

characteristics of products received from suppliers to ensure that products

reaching the customer are free of defects.

8.     Using problem-solving and control tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, 4 Blockers, FMEA, PSW, A3, Kaizen events, SPC, etc., whenever a problem or critical impact on operations or the customer is encountered, to strengthen both the supplier and internal quality systems.

9.     Conducting on-site audits with suppliers, ensuring compliance with the quality system guidelines and/or the AS9100 standard to guarantee that the supplier adheres to the quality system requirements and the standard.

10.  Perform other duties inherent to the position according to the needs of the company. Purpose: To meet the established goals of the organization.
