Descripción y detalle de las actividades

  • Lead and optimize second shift manufacturing operations to ensure product quality, safety, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Supervise and support Production Supervisors and associates to ensure the successful execution of the production plan.
  • Allocate resources and assign work to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor production performance metrics and provide weekly and monthly reports to Operations leadership.
  • Identify deviations from production goals and implement corrective actions to resolve operational issues.
  • Anticipate operational risks or production issues and proactively implement solutions.
  • Lead and support Lean Manufacturing / Operational Excellence initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies, equipment, and process improvements.
  • Ensure proper planning and resource allocation for the successful execution of the second shift production plan.
  • Prioritize production activities based on customer demand and business priorities.
  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities based on changing business needs.
  • Promote a high-performance culture, motivating and developing team members.
  • Ensure team members understand operational goals and how they align with company objectives.

Experiencia y requisitos

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in sheet metal or metal mechanics manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading operational improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including reporting and performance analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
