Packaging Engineer (Boulevard 2000)
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial packaging design and development within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software , including 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM). Strong knowledge of packaging materials (wood, steel, corrugated cardboard, plastics, foam, and recyclable materials) and packaging standards such as ISTA, ASTM D4169, and ISO . Experience with packaging validation, cost optimization, continuous improvement, and Engineering Change Management (ECO/ECN, PDM/PLM). Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel ; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Syteline, or similar) is preferred. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. Preferred: Experience in the electrical manufacturing industry, including switchgear, transformers, or industrial equipment, as well as knowledge of sustainable packaging practices or ISTA certification. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork, organizational skills, leadership, a hands-on approach, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset.
