Descripción y detalle de las actividades

Job Objective

Ensure compliance with production plans through effective supervision of assigned personnel, processes, and resources, guaranteeing adherence to safety, quality, productivity, and delivery standards. Lead continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to operational efficiency, cost optimization, and talent development, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with organizational objectives.

Activities and Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure compliance with established safety, quality, delivery, and productivity plans.
  • Manage a workforce of more than 60 employees, promoting talent development, operational discipline, and teamwork.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities and ensure achievement of departmental goals.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, operating procedures, and product specifications.
  • Efficiently manage human, material, and equipment resources to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, Lean Manufacturing practices, and 5S methodology.
  • Investigate, document, and follow up on process deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Coordinate activities with support departments such as Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Planning.
  • Manage personnel-related incidents, vacations, overtime, attendance, and payroll-related processes.
  • Maintain effective communication with the work team and management to ensure operational continuity.
  • Escalate in a timely manner any situation that may impact safety, quality, productivity, or delivery performance.

Experiencia y requisitos

Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading teams of at least 60 employees.
  • Knowledge of personnel management, production control, and operational metrics compliance.
  • Experience analyzing and tracking production, quality, efficiency, and downtime KPIs.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, 5S, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience in problem-solving and decision-making in high-demand environments.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material control, and quality assurance systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production control systems.
  • Intermediate English level preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and results-oriented skills.
  • Availability to work operational shifts and adapt to business needs.
