The Program Manager(NPI) manages and coordinates new customer projects, transfer projects, sustaining engineering support, and site/company Continuous Improvement Projects. Program Manager works directly with Customers, and closely with Sales Team, Quoting Team, Site Manufacturing/Engineering/Quality Teams, and Customer Service Team to drive projects from award through validation and into production.
- Overall responsibility for customer programs from award through production launch
- Deliver new projects through all phases of development and production to meet company on time delivery, quality and profitability expectations
- Develop and maintain project plans, communication plans, action trackers for all projects
- Drive innovation and technical development, including product design concepts, automation concepts, capital equipment purchases, new technologies, for critical customer programs
- Provide leadership guidance to customer, site managers, site manufacturing/quality engineers, external suppliers
- Consulting with the customer's technical personnel on product design, materials selection, and quality requirements
- Responsible for scheduling and executing customer validations in conjunction with manufacturing and quality teams
- Estimates or revises costs on existing or new molding/ assembly programs and directs modifications and changes to existing molds from customer revisions
- Responsible for tracking all active projects and communicating status to senior management
Experiencia y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Knowledge and experience in project management in a manufacturing environment, medical device and consumer packaging experience preferred.
- Solid knowledge and experience of injection molding tooling, processing, quality, materials, or product design
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management tools/processes, i.e. Microsoft Project, action trackers, ERP systems (IQMS preferred), quoting systems, etc.
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills required
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- 10 years of experience in Project Management preferred
