Project Manager

versees and manages new and ongoing projects through direct reports from opportunity to project closure. Manages status of projects by planning, organizing and controlling schedules progress and budget. Generate and present status reports. Addresses complex project issues and works with the project engineers to develop resolutions to meet project performance, time, scope and cost to reach client-satisfaction goals and objectives. This person supports the well-being of the relationship between customer and company. - Engineering project and transfers quote estimates. - Capital justifications and ROI analyze for projects. - Create and maintains project schedules/plans, risk plans, communication plans, etc. using the correct tools that accurately reflect the scope of work. Proactively adjusts budgets and resources as appropriate in accordance with scope. - Leads project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for assigned engineering projects and product transfer, following applicable product implementation procedures. - Define with customer project scope, deliverables and milestones, ensure team is staying on track and communicates progress all internal and external stakeholders. - Manages multiple projects through direct reports to ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, safety, reliability, schedule and cost. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. - Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with CFT managers, functional managers, and clients. - Prepares and delivers presentations to senior management around project status, constraints, and critical issues and helps facilitate adoption of best practices. - Enable growth and development of project teams by establishing opportunities for knowledge sharing; training; coaching and mentoring.
