Senior Shopify Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Shopify Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-performing eCommerce solutions on the Shopify platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in Shopify (Liquid, APIs, and app integrations), a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices, and the ability to lead development initiatives from concept through deployment.

You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to build scalable, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized online stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and customization of Shopify and Shopify Plus stores
• Build and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Develop custom apps and integrations using Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL)
• Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness across devices
• Implement third-party tools (payments, shipping, CRM, analytics, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and technical issues
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional experiences
• Ensure SEO best practices and accessibility standards are implemented
• Manage deployments, version control, and development workflows
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
• Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates, tools, and industry trends
