Skills, Experience, Education, & Training: English Level: High Demonstrated interest in medical devices, and the medical field Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Life Sciences Demonstrated understanding of medical device QMS requirements and regulatory requeriments, including but not limited to FDA CFR 21 820 and ISO 13485 Minimum Education: Minimum degree in electrical, mechanical or system engineering, math, or physics. Advanced degree preferred. At least two areas of deep technical expertise applicable to the manufacture of medical robotic systems. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in one of these disciplines and a few years in a second discipline. Example areas of expertise:- Quality science and quality management Quality statistics Medical device software development, software quality best practices Controls, algorithm development Mechanical engineering, with experience relevant to robotic systems Electrical engineering, with experience relevant to robotic systems Design for reliability, manufacturability, serviceability Proven ability to work in teams and to project-manage cross-functionally Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to influence others: Passionate about our mission to improve product quality Able to use persuasive, logical arguments based on data Demonstrated understanding of product development lifecycles, design change and document change control, process verification and validation methodologies, production process control methodologies in a medical device environment Previous work experience with product design changes, process verification and validation, as well as production process controls methodologies in an FDA/ISO regulated environment Due to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19. Skill/Job Requirements: Competency Requirements: In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must possess: English Level: High (Good writing and speaking skills in English) Education: Bachelor degree in electrical, mechanical or system engineering, life sciences, mathematics, or physics. Advanced degree is a bonus. Able to navigate quality and compliance system with minimal oversight on individual projects. Basic knowledge of CFR 21 820/ ISO 13485 requirements for making process or design changes. Understands product risks, able to work with design and quality engineers to update risk documents. Understands Design Controls, Change Controls, Product, and Engineering Processes. Uses data to quantitatively communicate problem or issue. Basic functionality in PowerPoint Understands typical Excel data analysis operations (bonus for Vlookup, Pivot table and pivot chart functions). Works with Peers to understand and document issues. Operates with minimal oversight for basic problems or assignments, and escalates appropriately for issues requiring clarification. Preferred: 1 to 3years of working experience in a medical device company Experience with Agile/ACCS, TrackWise, or other electronic documentation systems (desired) Participation in internal / external audits conducted Aware of SPC & Six Sigma methodology and tools (e.g. uses DMAIC process and basic tools such as 5 Why's, control charts, fishbone diagram). Personality Requirements Able to cope with changes and uncertainties; and handle associated risks comfortably. Ask questions and don’t stop at the first answer. Customer Quality Engineer

Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). 4–6 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, with exposure to quality or customer-facing roles. Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace regulatory requirements. Proficiency in quality tools and methods (8D, RCCA, FAIRs/AS9102, FMEA). Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization and with customers. Fluent in both English and Spanish languages (written and spoken), able to lead meetings, while understanding & explaining complex engineering, metrology and quality assurance topics effectively, in writing and verbally in either language. Available to physically travel to, and work remotely from different locations around the world, for various lengths of time. Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, powerpoint, etc) Confident with understanding and interpreting engineering documents (MBD, 2D drawings, specifications, etc). Preferred Experience with customer quality portals (e.g., Boeing Supplier Portal, Airbus SupplyOn). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Knowledge of NADCAP special processes. Working knowledge of GD&T and aerospace drawings. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timeliness and effectiveness of corrective actions. Customer quality metrics (PPM, OTD, escape rates). Reduction in repeat nonconformances. Successful completion of customer and regulatory audits.
