Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain processes, including vendor management, negotiations, RFP (Request for Proposal) management, and contract administration. Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM Advanced English Proficiency Qualifications We Prefer: Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Developed and executed effective negotiation strategies while managing complex supplier relationships, backed by thorough knowledge of compliance regulations, government procurement procedures, and import/export rules. Identified and implemented improvements in procurement processes, cost reduction strategies, and supplier management practices. Demonstrated expertise in analyzing price trends, manufacturing processes, and contract performance to ensure compliance and drive process improvements while managing the entire procurement life cycle, from quote requests to final delivery. Experience leading cross-functional procurement and supply chain projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to achieve business objectives.
