Manufacturing Engineer (Soldering)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing Engineers regularly work in office, lab, and manufacturing facilities. Travel to international vendor, manufacturing, and/or development locations may be required. SKILLS: Must have strong problem-solving attributes. Skilled at communicating with and influencing design teams, vendors, and customers. EXPERIENCE: Essential: Experience in Electronic Industry. Six Sigma Certification is a plus Electronic Manufacturing and Components Fabrication. Coating and encapsulation / potting automation. Experience using IPC standards (e.g., IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑J‑STD‑001) in a production environment. Experience in the soldering process, using wave solder or selective soldering machines. Experiencie designing and improving designs in toolings and pallets used in soldering process. Experience implementing DOE in soldering machines. Desirable: Experience for more than 2 years working with soldering machines, wave/selective solder. Greater than 5 years of relevant design/development team and/or manufacturing support. EDUCATION: Essential: Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline Desirable: Electronic engineering 6-sigma or equivalent statistical, problem-solving methodology On-site in Mexicali
