The Financial Analyst is mainly responsible for developing and implementing concepts to tightly control and track the pricing and costing processes.
Perform analysis and provide recommendations that will enhance accuracy and result in improved margins.
Identify and implement projects that improve and/or automate current processes.
This position will work cross functionally with finance, sales, engineering and manufacturing to bring a new level of visibility and profitability control to the business.
Experiencia y requisitos
- Develop an in depth understanding of costing principles and cost models used when quoting new business and help to manage the Request for Quote (RFQ) process from start to finish.
- Develop an in depth understanding of pricing models and principles used to arrive at pricing decisions and provide oversight on price change process.
- Act as point person between Sales and Finance to communicate customer and product specific details such as historical sales, margins, pricing and costs.
- Prepare regular reviews on customer/item profitability, provide recommendations for improvement, and see those recommendations through to completion and implementation.
- Other duties and ad hoc projects as required
- Bachelor's Degree Required - Preferably in Finance or Accounting*
- High math acumen and analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
- Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of an organization *
- BILINGUAL 100%
- Ability to work with large amounts of data, extract the needed information and present in an easy to understand manner.
