Sr Manufacturing Engineer

Required Skills and Experience Minimum 6 years of experience as design or manufacturing engineer supporting product with significant mechanical/electromechanical content. Experience with mechanism design refinement, robotics and/or medical products are a plus. Comfortable with product development lifecycle including refinement, implementation, debug, verification, qualification, and transfer to manufacturing. Ability to execute and document changes in an automated change control system and demonstrate compliance. Proficient using CAD (SolidWorks) required. Prior experience with complex device manufacturing is a plus. Experience in new product introduction/development is desirable. Experience in an ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or medical device manufacturing environment is desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar EHS position, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements. Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems . Experience as an ISO 14001 Internal Auditor is preferred. Knowledge and experience managing regulatory procedures and government requirements (STPS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, COFEPRIS, and other applicable authorities). Experience in environmental programs, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, chemical handling, and emergency response procedures. Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs for employees at different organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Intermediate English proficiency (approximately 60% or higher). Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
