• General knowledge of the disciplines (GPM, GQR, GDP, ISO13485 and Operations). • Green belt or Black belt certification. • Knowledge of programs: Agile, Oracle and advanced Excel. • Knowledge of Statistics, use of Minitab software, process capacity analysis. • Root cause analysis (5 Why’s, RCCA, Paretos, Cause-Effect Diagram, etc.) • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (8D's, 5S's, SMED, VSM, Visual management, OEE) and implementation of process improvements. • Basic knowledge of metrology, interpretation of Drawings and tolerances. • Project management, knowledge of Microsoft Project software for Gantt preparation. • Basic knowledge of Finance (cost-benefit analysis, ROI, cash Flow, etc.). • Basic knowledge of sterilization processes. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with collaborators from different departments. • Ability to work with integrity and build trust. • Problem solving and analytical skills. • Ability to critically review and interpret technical documentation. • Ability to work precisely with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet key deadlines under pressure through effective time management skills. • Ability to clearly transmit ideas and concepts verbally and in writing (Spanish and English). • Ability to work effectively both independently and with team members. • A university degree in Engineering is required. • At least 5 years of experience in the medical device industry. • Complete understanding and broad application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of engineering. • Experience in generating cost reduction ideas, efficiency improvements and scrap reduction in product lines. • Experience in decision making based on risk analysis (pFMEA, dFMEA, Risk Management, etc.).
