Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading all HR functions for Lavé Apparel’s Tijuana operations. This role ensures legal compliance, workforce stability, and the development of clear, enforceable people systems that support operational excellence and company culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong knowledge of Mexican labor law, practical problem-solving, and the ability to work closely with management and employees at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all HR operations for the Tijuana facility
- Ensure full compliance with Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT) and related regulations
- Manage IMSS, INFONAVIT, payroll taxes, and labor filings
- Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and terminations
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Prepare for and support STPS inspections and audits
- Partner with leadership on organizational structure, staffing, and workforce planning
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting
- Protect confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
Experiencia y requisitos
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of HR management experience in Mexico
- Strong working knowledge of Mexican labor law and compliance requirements
- Experience managing manufacturing or operations-based workforces
- Proven ability to implement HR systems and policies in growing organizations
- Excellent communication, judgment, and leadership skills
- Bilingual: Spanish (native or fluent) and English (professional working proficiency)

Experience in apparel manufacturing or similar production environments

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $4,500 MXN NET weekly
- Benefits: According to the Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT), including social security, vacation, and other statutory benefits
